R 매뉴얼) Indexing of arrays and vectors is performed using the single and double brackets, ‘[]’ and ‘[[]]’. Also, indexing tagged lists may be done using the ‘$’ operator.

 

열에 직접 Access 하는데 사용한다.

 

iris dataset 에서,

iris[, "Species"] # 결과가 Vector. iris[,5] 와 동일.

iris["Species"] # 결과가 150x1 data frame 이다.
